Biography:

I have been teaching with the Hempfield Area School District since 2013. I teach chorus and piano class at the high school and elementary band and 5th grade chorus at Stanwood Elementary. I also teach some of the band lessons at Fort Allen and West Hempfield elementary schools. I am a clarinet and piano player and regularly play and perform with both.

My past teaching jobs include elementary band with the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese, elementary general music at Hampton City Schools in Virginia and middle school chorus and general music at Pleasant Hills Middle School in the West Jefferson Hills School District. I also taught piano, clarinet and voice lessons and a clarinet choir at Seton Hill University in the Community Music Program for 10 years prior to accepting my current position with Hempfield.
