Biography:

My name is Miss Huemme, and I am excited to be teaching fourth-grade math and science at Stanwood Elementary! I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Pennsylvania Western University at California and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Western Governors University. I hold my Pennsylvania PreK–6 teaching certification and have experience working with students from preschool through sixth grade. I joined the Hempfield Area School District in 2025 and am excited to continue growing as an educator within the district. I strive to create a positive and supportive classroom where students feel valued and excited to learn. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and spending time with my dog, Baylor!
